Hi!

My name is Jordan Burda, and I am from Brooklyn, New York. I am a senior Public Relations major at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications with a minor in Communication & Rhetorical Studies at Syracuse University. On campus, I am also involved with Z89 Radio, I work as an executive producer and lead host for the music show, End of the Week Energy. I also work as a Cinemas Director for University Union, organizing weekly film screenings for the university community. Studying in Newhouse gives me the ability to expand my public relations skills and to hopefully pursue a career in entertainment PR.

Coming from New York City, I have always lived a fast-paced life with the hustle of the city. I grew up in a small family where relationships and communication were more important than anything. This led to her having a passion for Public Relations at Syracuse University, where I hope to make a difference for PR practitioners. I found my love for entertainment in high school. Going to an arts school and being a film major, I gradually developed my love for TV and movies. Even though I don't pursue film anymore, I still see it as a part of my future.

As well as PR, I love traveling, baking, watching movies and spending time with friends and family. I strive to keep myself busy in ways that I find rewarding, but also give me experiences for my future careers.
